I recommend it as well, as I actually enjoyed this anime (and I don't enjoy all too many). Besides, it's a comedy anime, which makes it even more enjoyable for me (comedy is one of my favorite genres (it's actually funny too)). Yet, it still has a lot of action, good (and lovable) characters, a good plot, and a good everything, in my opinion (I'm in love with this anime though, so my opinion is kind of biased). The only thing is that there are quite a lot of characters with long, confusing names, so it can become easy to forget names (I had to watch it twice to remember all the names). Besides that, I genuinely enjoyed this anime and even got some merch of it (a sticker of Kuu (the cat) and a Nanbaka t-shirt).
And as a bonus for my gay ass: many of the male characters are 👌👌👌👌 (like Seitarou Tanabata and Samon Goku).
Just to make sure you would like it though, you should look into watching some clips of it on YouTube, perhaps (just be aware that they may contain spoilers).
Some other things to note:
-Yes, it does have its cringe-y horny characters and over-sexualized ones (like most animes do), so just be aware of that.
-Blood, gore, and violence are re-occurring themes in the anime.
-And other similar things (just things to note in case you have parents who keep track of what you watch and don't want you watching things with inappropriate themes in them).
