Can we normalize micro-labels please?

Absolutely! I use a microlabel, and I also have a sexuality that doesn’t match my romanticity. I always get told my romanticity isn’t valid. So yes, let’s normalize microlabels!

Yeah, there’s a stigma that you’re just trying to be cool or special. And there’s people who say things like “I’m Bobby-sexual”, which is basically the anti microlabel version of “I identify as an attack helicopter”. And homophobic people will deliberately misspell our acronym as LGBZVXR2L+ to try and mock our use of microlabels. And some exclusionists see it on the same level as queerbaiting (which is cishets pretending to be LGBTQ+ for clout/attention or to appeal to that market/demographic), which it (use of microlabels) is most certainly not.

Forgot to mention in my first reply, but I checked out your profile, and yeah, there’s a major stereotype that ace people can’t have romantic attraction. Which isn’t true, that’s aromantic.

Thank you! And yeah, it’s a lot like “animesexual” and “r*pesexual” where they assume it’s for mocking the lgbtq community. But it’s not, it’s a valid sexuality.
