Anyway, all of this is Exhibit A in why Stream Owners shouldn’t insert themselves into a fundamentally political process. Trials are difficult enough to run and manage without Owners constantly harping on and calling for a retrial on every perceived infinitesimally small violation, particularly when the Defendant doesn’t even show up. We’re not talking throwing someone in jail for 25 to life — we’re talking about banning someone from one stream on a meme site. The amount of due process afforded should reflect that. And anyway, the next government is always empowered to reverse bans on users.

Not sure what you’re talking about. I’m just going to repost my summation of that incident here.

Tl;dr The Defendant doesn’t get more due process rights than he’s actually willing to use.
