As an American, The Constitution supports freedom of religion. Allowing me to learn about Christianity taught me to Love God, who taught love one another. My comment wasn't referencing my love for my country, which I do; that is a political statement. Loving God from a Christian perspective is not to be confused. God understands the impossibility "to be" in our world without sinning. God sent his Son to die for us and, Jesus taught submission, as we submit to God's word. God is blameless for our hatred of one another. And the consequences we face by our free will. Again my post was a Christian view not, political and, we are having difficulty dividing the two. Christians submit to the Lord's ways. My suggestion wasn't to send the Military to teach God's word. An oxymoron is sending in the Military to enforce submission to the Word of God.

"Hosea 9:11-16 Hosea prays for God’s intervention. “Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer. Give them, 0 Lord: what wilt thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. . .Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.” Clearly Hosea desires that the people of Ephraim can no longer have children. God of course obeys by making all their unborn children miscarry. Is not terminating a pregnancy unnaturally “abortion”?

Numbers 5:11-21 The description of a bizarre, brutal and abusive ritual to be performed on a wife SUSPECTED of adultery. This is considered to be an induced abortion to rid a woman of another man’s child.

Numbers 31:17 (Moses) “Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every women that hath known man by lying with him.” In other words: women that might be pregnant, which clearly is abortion for the fetus.

Hosea 13:16 God promises to dash to pieces the infants of Samaria and the “their women with child shall be ripped up”. Once again this god kills the unborn, including their pregnant mothers."

What was that you were saying about love?

Bible study may comfort your confusion. Your meaning is out of context. The verse relates to a Nation and Restoration.
The name Hosea means "salvation." It comes from the same Hebrew root (hoshea) as the names Joshua and Jesus.
B. Israel's unfaithfulness and a promise of restoration.
1. (Hos 1:2) The command to take a prostitute as a wife.
When the LORD began to speak by Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea: "Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry and children of harlotry, for the land has committed great harlotry by departing from the LORD."
a. The LORD said to Hosea: God's first word to Hosea was something for his own life. This is how God almost always works. Hosea probably would have preferred it if God gave him a word for someone else. But before the prophet can speak to the nation, he first has to hear from God for himself.
b. Go take yourself a wife of harlotry: The word God had for Hosea wasn't easy. Hosea was told to take a prostitute for a wife. Why? Because the land has committed great harlotry by departing from the LORD. Please reach out to clergy for further comment. You will be provided with a better Biblical understanding. Take Care and Blessings.

Controlling the narrative about the Love of Christ is confusion about Christianity and is an example of fear to submit to the Lord.

You can be first in line to go to Afghanistan and preach your beliefs. Good Luck.

Ask those that found Jesus. Maybe, less would be persecuted as more converted.

You think the rate of religious tension reduces as the rate of conversion to Christianity increases?

OK, let's test that theory with just about every example in history at all in the last 2000 years..... aaaaaaaaaaaand...

.... the verdict is "Oh f**k no!"

You are correct. Read about Alexander the Great in Afghanistan. It did not work well for him. We should have realized the hostile environment. Amen to those preaching the gospel. Souls are eternal Military conflict is neolithic. President Trump understood how to promote peace as freedom. We now lost our vision.
Romans 5:10
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Alexander the Great was WAY before Jesus! By some margin!!

Alexander married a local princess and that still didn't help calm the restive province. It had been trouble for Iran too when it was part of that.

Your point? Two thousand years ago was your guideline. And Jesus was before Mohammad, known as peace be upon them. How did that work for the Muslims against the Taliban? The Taliban is a political party not, a religious denomination. Again political beliefs are invasive.

"Loving God from a Christian perspective is not to be confused."

So, this sentence by the op makes perfect sense to you but what I've said doesn't?

I merely expressed surprise that Jesus had been found, he's the internationally-recognized champion of Hide-and-Go-Seek, an important spiritual bedrock of the Christian faith.

The context of my post is to discuss political intentions that are not motivated by the love of people. The biblical context of persecution was always politically motivated. Sidetracking the issue isn't my interest.

Fair enough, I'd just have assumed him being found was a pretty big deal and I hadn't heard anyone else mention it; I am neither a Christian nor a theologian though, so I wouldn't really know.
