So, you're telling me Democrats believe and are acting on the idea that "this is a Chinese plot to kill Americans?"

In effect, yes — Democrats have been raising the alarm about Covid from the beginning. From long before we knew this pandemic was going to drag out for the better part of two whole years.

All along the way Republicans have belittled Covid, called it a media hoax, talked about the “99% survival rate,” called Covid patients crisis actors, labeled Fauci and the CDC as communists, fought mask and distancing and vaccination mandates tooth and nail, etc. etc.

600,000+ deaths later and still counting at about 1,500 deaths/day (that’s about 1/2 of a 9/11 every day’s worth of Americans we are still losing): who was more right?

And how is this addressing "Chinese killing Americans"?

By actually stopping the killing.

So, an adequate respond to a bio attack on the American people by a foreign power care for the sick. Nothing else?

—Care for the sick, certainly.
—Prevent all the preventable illnesses and deaths that we can, better.
—Call for a complete investigation into all possible origins of Covid including the infamous Wuhan lab, even better.
—Unify our allies and punish/sanction China if necessary for failure to cooperate, best.

I’m afraid military action against a nuclear-armed nation of 1.2 billion is off the table when we can’t even control Afghanistan.

What I’ve outlined is a sensible mainstream Democratic view on what we should do about Covid in a nutshell. Anyone who suggests Biden etc. want to let China off the hook for this is lying.
