It says right there, “arrests”. That is not representative of all murders. Black people have been over represented in crime since before the Civil War. The system has always been pitted against them.
The system has always been awful at solving homicides and sometimes charge black people just to close the case (e.g. Walter McMillan) even in cases where they didn’t match the suspect’s description (Julius Jones).
Black people make up 13% of the population and more than half of the murders. Black communities are targeted
for arrest through predictive
policing and black people are more likely than white people to later be exonerated for murder charges; No!! They commit more than half of the murders because they're black and listen to rap!!
