Larry:
1) What he did wasn't against the law...after all, their is video of the Kapitol Keystone Kops ushering people into the building and even holding the door open.
2) after being intimidated by the Federal Goverment over a phony "insurrection" for 9 months, anyone would say that they "made the biggest mistake..." and that they "wouldn't do it again..."
