I know that you're Canadian, eh?, but a U.S. Senator can no more restore the power in his state than he can stop COVID or stop illegals from pouring over the border. A U.S. Senator works on the floor of the U.S. Senate as part of the three branches of the U.S. Federal government (not the state government).
