Basically some people thought the popular users were privileged and had a better chance of winning than everyone else.

Very annoying, and the guy who really started making those accusations about anonymously.deleted was a very popular user himself. anonymously.deleted ended up winning in a landslide lol

So this guy, killerkeller547, makes like a joke attack ad about me cause of how Scar wrecks the lion land or whatever, so I shoot back obviously and there was a whole big argument in the comment section XD It was all in good fun, at least for me and him. Other people weren't so enthralled XD
Puppylover ended up running on positivity and having avoided using mudslinging, so I dropped out and ran as her VP. We won handsomely :)
And then there was KylieFan who decided to start mudslinging Kate The Grate, so that was..... special
