It’s a good idea going forward — however, we shouldn’t DQ ballots from this cycle since we are changing the rules mid-election without advance notice.

I agree 100% we should continue to depoliticize this stream to lower tensions, part of why I joined a “conservative” party.

That's the whole thing with IP, if someone doesn't like a rule or law: Say something. And the president and VP at the time will be happy to talk it out with them and maybe even change it. And then the whole thing with Congress and so on.

I also definitely agree with the rule because the stream's intended for 'role-play' anyway and bringing real life politics into a roleplay stream is sort of irrelevant.

And I guess it doesn't really matter what party you like and it shouldn't necessarily coincide with your irl political views. Like for instance, I'm kind of interested in what the NERD party's gonna do, they'd be my second choice in fact.
