THE STATE OF FLORIDA DISAGREES WITH YOU | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
You can read the facts directly from the states health department right here (they report to the CDC, so I suspect you have arranged your data incorrectly). http://ww11.doh.state.fl.us/comm/_partners/covid19_report_archive/covid19-data/covid19_data_latest.pdf

Give it up; you can show them actual data that proves FACTS and they'll still disbelieve it. Then they'll run to the nearest feed store and buy their entire stock of horse dewormer pills to cure Covid-19.

Apparently not.

The data is a screen shot for cdc data Florida deaths by day Aug 19 - Aug 27. I have not manipulated the data.

I don't think you have done so out of an intent to mislead or outright lie. But clearly, the data you pulled from the CDC is at odds with the State of Florida.

Which reports its numbers to the CDC.

So...which is more likely: that the state of Florida is wrong or that you accidentally (but in all legitimate honesty) incorrectly arranged your axis from the CDC page?

[image deleted] Same data extended through Aug 27. Same Florida data source as in your chart. Why are you stopping at Aug 13? I am not manipulating nor have I "accidentally" arranged anything. The difference is you stop without the data from the last two weeks. Why?

Deleting your image doesn't change things. The screen shot you took showed Florida is clearly misrepresenting their deaths on purpose. Two weeks ago, they were reporting less than 25 deaths on August 27th. And then a week ago that number went up to 72 on August 27th..

Now it's over 200. All the same date. All the same state.

The state of Florida still has not updated the public-facing PDF for covid deaths. However, the CDC page is updated with daily totals.

It was recently reported that Florida had been "gaming" the system by delaying reporting deaths by days and even weeks.

I checked the CDC site today. and it does have updated totals. I set the counter to the same day as yours. It's up to 72 reported deaths now.

So, we know that the reporting is true. Florida is delaying reports of deaths.

and they are not updating their Sec of Health website with the latest information.

I will follow up in 2 weeks with another screenshot of the data. I fully expect there to be more deaths reported.

If you go to the cdc page, and then click on the links they provide to verify the information, you get linked to the STate of Florida.

Florida picked those dates for the PDF that I linked. As to why? I can't say because there could be legal requirements as to why they picked those dates. I don't know why.

I just know that's the dates they picked.
