I do appreciate your sincere and tireless advocacy for the LGBTQ community — that isn’t at all motivated by political self-interest or a revenge motive against the Party that kicked you out — it is inspiring to witness.

Let’s recap:

—Wubbzy, current President, agrees RUP is open to LGBTQ people and allies.
—IG has said nasty things in the past, admittedly, about the community — and I have clashed with him a zillion times over this very issue in the past, to the point I once started an entirely separate imgflip.com/m/Government stream for anyone in the community interested in staying away from the toxicity here (a decision I took a lot of heat for at the time) — but IG has since cleaned up his act from everything I can see.
—Take note that RUP made me an official member in the line of succession and with my own liberal faction, knowing I’m an imgflip.com/m/LGBTQ mod and a imgflip.com/m/politicsTOO mod and all. Hard to imagine they’d do that if they were frothing-at-the-mouth homophobes.

The takeaway?

RUP is definitely changing for the better, as is the environment at imgflip.com/m/IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS overall under RUP’s tenure.

Four weeks if after you joined the party, dipstick.

I joined about two weeks ago when I was notified I was a part of RUP’s succession plan. About 3 weeks ago is when I allied NERD with RUP in solidarity with Andrew’s meddling with democracy here. When he did an end-run around the impeachment process, which is the route he should have gone if he wanted IG demodded — and caused a schism and almost brought the stream to a grinding halt in the process by even his own admission.

Now — if you have examples of IG being hateful to LGBTQ while I’ve personally had any involvement with RUP, point it out and I’m happy to chew him out for it. Like I said, if he goes on that kind of a warpath again, I’m out.

Keep digging that hole.

Roughly 4 weeks ago, I returned to the stream after I being gone for awhile. I then founded the N.E.R.D. Party. Formally allied it with RUP 3 weeks ago due to the Andrew Owner demodding fiasco interlude, then was put in RUP’s formal succession plan maybe 2 weeks ago.

That’s my timeline with RUP — What’s yours? Seems to me you may have been with them during a lot of this time you’re now alleging they were corrupt homophobes :)
