It is still true that unvaccinated are more likely to catch COVID, the vaccine will mitigate that some, but it’s still possible for the vaccinated to catch the virus (albeit with more mild reactions).

And for the record, Abbott is currently asymptomatic. Your cheering for his suffering isn’t doing anything. Did the vaccine help prevent it from being severe? Perhaps. But he still contracted COVID despite being fully vaccinated.
