What if a President actually ended an endless war and brought our troops home? That’d be crazy right?

I can't stand Trump. I voted for Biden, but I'm disgusted with his withdrawal from Afghanistan. We should not have left until every member of the Taliban was exterminated.

That’s unrealistic — would require a huge and prolonged commitment of troops, or nuclear weapons and war crimes.

At one point we had 100,000+ troops in Afghanistan and stil couldn’t do it.

Ground troops aren't the answer—technology is. We could have used drones to locate Taliban fighters and then used conventional weapons to obliterate those Taliban personnel.

Still wouldn't have gotten it done. It'd be just a whack-a-mole game. The best we can realistically hope for is containment.
