Why is Biden responsible for a war he didn't start, for a withdrawal deal he didn't broker, on something that dragged on for 20 years?

I blame Walter Cronkite. He had no right to say what he said on national TV and should've been fired on the spot. Also the Legislative Branch cutting the war funding at the end even though things were starting to looking up.
