The priests had long hair, if I recall correctly. As did the Nazarenes.

I think it's only towards the Nazarites who have made a vow before the LORD in Numbers 6. In that vow they promised to live a life of separation (may not be monastic but purity) but have a strict diet which includes the avoidance of strong drink and touch nothing impure, including dead bodies.

Nazareith it seemed is like a city because it is typical of that time to add a place of name to the person, letting others know where s/he is from. Furthermore, since the Nazarites in their vow refused drink, Jesus drank wine & His critics did not accuse Him of breaking the Nazarite vow but only being a drunkard (Luke 7:33-35).

So with the exception of the Nazarites, it is a shame for men in general to have their hair long.

Despite thrice asking RebelWoman to speak to me about her Feminist worldview she refuses to talk but continued to post memes contrary to biblical patriarchy/Complimentarianism.

I recommend that she be banned from the Christian_clean_stream. The other Moderators might disagree with me so I welcome a discussion on this with them.

Hi Aelfwine, I have a bit of a problem. My latest meme on the Christian_clean_meme is marked NSFW and I like very much to have it not.

Is there anything I can do to reverse that?

I'll see what I can do.

I completely agree, but I am uncertain as to how to ban a person from posting in a stream. But I shall see what I can do.

Yes, I am uncertain if it can actually be done, but I do know that if she appears again they can press the flag button to notify the Moderators.

Thank you for erasing her memes.

The Gods accidentally made men's hair grow at the same rate as women's, plus added even more long ones on their head to boot.

Assuming that is true, that does not mean that it is ok to grow one’s hair beyond length normally associated & identified with the male gender

According to whom, the Romans? That's where the tradition came from, short hair being less easy to be grabbed in the battlefield.

Everywhere else on Earth, long hair for both has been the norm. Heck, go back to the 19th Century, and it was still the norm here and throughout the West.
Not only was that the case with the Hebrews, so were beards - as Yahweh commanded.
