Texas and Florida are literally banning or seriously considering banning teaching the history of slavery and systematic racism in schools, and Florida requires teachers and students to register their political views with the government.

Im not down with banning teachings of our slavery based past. That erases history - that we should as reflection today, such that we don't repeat the mistake or such that other countries can read up on it... So their country doesn't make the same mistake.

I am against teaching there is systematic racism in our government structures and society though, because that is the absolute most moronic thing I have ever heard. You can't have a society producing the most wealthy people of color than any where else in the world ... And say there is systematic racism.
