Three months ago it was claimed that PR1CE was a Homophobe bc of a meme he created which is the following ( imgflip.com/i/5ccl8c ). Someone brought back that claim, but when asked where, s/he did not know, and finding something that old is tasking, so I tried and managed to find it.

My findings: PR1CE.. is simply speaking as a regular Conservative in this matter, and not a hater.

Here is what I told that person:

In reading it he didn't begin with how he hated the lifestyle but the celebratory and characterial aspect of it. He is so disgusted by that that to him Sodom and Gomorrah will happen again.

You can argue still that he is still yearning for it as any Homophobe but then he said the following:

"I don't care if you're gay, that's your love life"

That is not what a Homophobe would say. Then he continued saying that he did not like is how so overtly your side took it.

That is his biggest problem overall with the LGBTQ+ community; the flamboyancy and the overzealousness of it all which in turn plays the victim card, hence, the snowflake remark.

To me, he is simply speaking as a regular Conservative in this matter, and not a hater. They feel that, though it may not necessarily include Sodom and Gomorrah, on all the others from Radical Feminists to Environmentalist and Animal Rights Zealots. They display roughly or equal to the same LGBTQ+ attitude except they do not have their own parades.."

I hope that rumour is laid to rest with this post as he doesn't deserve it.

And, please do not find that person, I believe s/he made an honest mistake.

I am a staunch supporter of LGBTQ rights and a mod of that stream — but I think it is important to take a step back and not throw around the “homophobe” term carelessly. If we unnecessarily alienate people who could be our friends, then we are setting the cause back.

I think Pr1ce is a basically decent guy. I have not seen him ever engaging in harassment of the LGBTQ community. I don’t think he ever gets up and tries to ruin someone’s day.

That said, things get heated on this stream (and if memory serves, this stream was hotter 3 months ago than it is today), and that was a harsh statement. Even though it was not as bad as other statements I’ve seen, invoking Sodom and Gomorrah (for instance) is going to be very off-putting for LGBTQ people to hear.

But I watch these issues closely, and it doesn’t seem to me like this stream is used to bash gay people. If it was, I wouldn’t be here.

You're welcome, Sloth. I am sure that this is a very sensitive issue for your side. Indeed, the very mention of Sodom and Gomorrah has to be upsetting. For the person who brought back the charge, i don't blame him/her for thinking that he is a Homophobe for using it. Especially then when it was very hot as you've said.

Both sides are proned to make mistakes when neither side doesn't truly understand each other. For my part as a Conservative and a Fundamentalist Christian, I am not immune to mistakes myself.

I hope that eventually, things will improve between our two sides so that we can together, move forward as Americans ought.
