He picked up that phone and immediately began talking. I thought phones like that had a certain recording that told you to push this button if you want this person or that department. He did not give it time to say anything and I highly doubt he knew what button to push.
To quote William Shakespeare:
"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players."
This guy had his theatrical moment.
