This again…?

Let’s not exclude this little nugget that can be found in that same article:

“British Troops Were Protected by Herd Immunity

Washington also knew that his American-born soldiers were far more susceptible to the disease than the European enemy. That’s because smallpox was endemic in England, meaning that a high percentage of British troops had already contracted the disease as children and now carried lifelong immunity.”

In other words.. if you were already infected with COVID you have this little thing called “Herd Immunity”. Therefore, we carry the lifelong immunity.

and a good reason he had to achieve herd immunity by getting his troops inoculated.

Uh huh.. he did. That scenario and this one are two completely unparalleled events which cannot even be compared.

So ask yourself this.. if his troops had natural herd immunity because they already exposed, would he still have them inoculated with Smallpox? The answer is likely not.

Now skip to our situation, where many of us - like myself - have had Covid but no vaccine. I have what the English called an immunity. So now why force me into an unnecessary vaccine that so far has proven far more ineffective and dangerous than just not having it in the first place?

The reason he did was he knew his troops did not have herd immunity.

Great - so you understand how both scenarios are vastly different? He would have risked a much higher death toll among troops if he hadn’t. It was a gamble.

Just like our military now.. if you get sent overseas you get vaccinated for all sorts of shit. That’s because the locals may have herd immunity and our soldiers wouldn’t.

Going back to Covid - we are not talking about an invading army. We’re not talking about massive death tolls. We’re not talking about a far more deadly virus like Smallpox. We’re talking about a virus with a near 100% survival rate. We’re talking about forced inoculation because herd immunity doesn’t work all of the sudden?

How Crude Smallpox Inoculations Helped George Washington Win the War
As commander of the Continental Army, Washington faced dual enemies: the British and smallpox. So he made a risky move.https://www.history.com/news/smallpox-george-washington-revolutionary-war

Ask the boys forced to take the Anthrax vaccine how thrilled they are with it. Wait, you can't, loss of hearing was one of the most frequent side effects.
