However, since regaining the majority after the 2018 elections, she impeached Trump not once but twice(!), held her conference together, and continues to hold Republicans’ feet to the fire over Jan. 6.

She’s been preparing her whole life for this moment, and it shows.

First off, nobody should be stoned to death. Holy smokes dude, this isn't the stone age (ba-dum tiss). Nobody or entity has the right to take a life outside legitimate self defense.
If Trump is Catholic then yes he should be excommunicated, though to my knowledge he isn't (correct me if I'm wrong).

Secondly, I vote Republican because in this two-party system they are the only real choice I've got as a Catholic. If a party came around that more closely stood for my values I'd vote for them in a heartbeat. If the Republicans adopt a platform that would cause more harm than Democrats do by defending abortion then I'll vote Democrat to oppose the now-greater-moral-threat.

Thirdly, in your hypothetical scenario I'm going to assume there's no way to save both. I'd save the child. Before you pull a gotcha and go, "ha!", let me tell you that just because I oppose abortion doesn't mean I'm a utilitarian. This scenario represents exigent circumstances in which we save one hundred humans in the first stage of development or one who lives a far more evolved and involved life. I can't let him die and ruin all the lives of those who love him. Sure, you let more die by doing that, but you're giving me no good choice with this scenario.

ANTIFA and BLM are responsible for dozens of deaths, billions in property damage, destroyed cities, continuous assaults on citizens, and cop killings. That is an actual issue. A one time Capitol breach with a few broken windows and someone getting shot, isn't even in the same realm as ANTIFA and BLM riots (which are still going on, BTW).
