As much as I support Richard's impeachment, I agree that the trial is unconstitutional. Since the assassinations were legal at the time they were conducted, the perpetrators cannot be tried for those actions because they did not break the law.

Well the vote is for a ban not an impeachment, and the ban charges have been changed. The constitutionality is irrelevant now. The ban vote is perfectly constitutional, and now only a couple votes away from being passed.

I objected, same as you and your friends are objecting right now. I saw it as a giant distraction from the ultimate issue of white nationalism that was plaguing the stream at the time.

I was also comment-timered at the same time as the “trial” and couldn’t defend myself — another due process concern.

Ultimately, I resigned rather than face kangaroo court justice.
