I've got over a million points and I get memes to the front page of the politics stream almost every day.....but sure, tell me how it's done.

Most of the memes there also have more than 12 views. 'many'. It's 2. And actually, it's in part due to the way upvotes work on imgflip. They aren't instant. Half the time, you upvote something and then it takes it away.

And if you want to base it off of that, tell me, how many upvotes do your earliest memes have?

The views number is irrelevant, as it does not count views in a stream listing.

It very much is relevant. If only one person out of 300 upvotes your meme, that is not a good meme

It's a garbage statistic, because it's possible to have a meme with 0 views but also has upvotes. It's meaningless unless all views are counted.
