Democrats just can't help themselves

For about 10 year in the 80's and 90's the left went on an anti censorship campaign. They weren't censored in the slightest but they acted like they were. All it was is that no one wanted to listen to their BS and so the felt like they were being censored.

Fast forward to now and they are going on full offensive trying to censor everything we say. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube will shut you down if you post anything that disproves the lies the left is trying to spread. The president wants to shut you down if you post something he disagrees with. Obama tried 3 times to create a system where anyone could report on anyone else speaking bad about Obama but he failed to get any of that into existence.

Leftist pundits and politicians are saying that because you cannot yell "fire" in a crowded movie theater that all speech can be regulated under the 1st amendment. Many of the millennials today think that

Obama overturned a law that prevented the news media from reporting propaganda.

Thanks to the Democrats we are right on the verge of turning into Orwell's 1984.

And they have the nerve to call us the Nazis. Hitler would be proud of the Democrat party.

Agree - it's kind of amazing how the Democrats have changed in a matter of only about two decades. By the 1990s, the concept of color-blindness in race relations influenced culture and was the normal (and rational) ideal for a just society. Within the last few years, this been subverted so that color-blindness is defined as "racist" to the left.

And yes, as you said, the left used to champion free speech in America. The fact that they no longer care for such basic civil liberties shows how dangerous as they are, trying to justify their means of oppression because they think their ends are "good".

Talk about 1984, all you do is lie.
