Just stay out of the blue states. They don't have any manners or self-respect in those blue states states anyway. They demand we change for them. If they want to step out of reality and they still want to interact with everyone else then they have to change for us and not other way around.

I grew up in a blue state, California. California wasn't always blue but they turned blue in my later teens and really never looked back. Even the couple of Republican governors they had more recently were very left leaning (Gray Davis and Arnold Schwarzenegger).

I wasn't born there but my family moved there when I was about 5 years old and I lived there most of my life. My wife was born and raised there. We left California long before all of this insanity hit. Our last 3 years in California was in the SF Bay Area. We're from So. Cal., east of Los Angeles.

I think I would have a much greater chance of seeing this nonsense in the Bay Area then I ever would have in So. Cal. Maybe downtown areas of LA and probably some parts of the San Fernando Valley but the rest of So Cal I doubt I would seen any of this silliness.

Plus I'm in my early 60's, I would think this would be something only the teens and 20's would be doing.

A friend of mine (who is also about my age) recommended this site. I don't know her user name here but she makes memes here all of the time and posts them on Facebook. She may only post them on Facebook and not here. Essentially that is all I came here for and then I started reading comments. I also only joined because every once in 2, 3 or 10,000 blue moons I think of something funny and I want to make a funny meme out of it. But then I go sucked in politics.

Since being here I have ran into others in my generation. I'm not so sure of how old they are but I can tell by the things they reference. Unless they are very familiar with US history of the last 50 years the only way they can know some of the stuff they do is if they lived through it.

Also I don't even think I am the oldest person here. I've had conversations with a person who sounded like he was a few years older than me. In fact I think something like this would be something retirees would do now that they have so much free time on their hands. BTW I'm not retired yet. Maybe in the next couple or more years.

I don't mind if i'm corrected during an individual interaction. I will respect what an individual prefers once I am informed, BUT I think it is ridiculous that we are expected to change everyday habits that suit 99% of the population to suit less than 1%.
Ladies and gentleman has always excluded much of the population as it leaves out s**ts and perverts.
Also, sir is gender neutral It refers to anyone of a higher "rank" regardless of gender.
