okay I realize this might be related to some statements I may have made earlier-
And I now understand I should have been way way more clear. What I meant was straight people who didn't have much experience with lgbtq, or the stream itself for that matter. All I was really tryina say is that when accepting straight people as mods, it should at very least be considered that the POV from a moderator who is gay or whatever, is different from one that is straight.
Of course this should also apply to anybody who just generally has a different sexuality then whatever a post may be talking about. Which is why I just think we need to be a lil more open minded when it comes to the opinions and views of others, e.g. I once saw a post to this stream basically claiming that lesbian hate is "barely existent" This personally offended me, because I have been harassed on the internet several times when I was defining myself as lesbian. And still do for being lgbtq as a whole.
also just a quick lil note, at the time of making the comments I had like 0 sleep, which I know ain't an excuse but like- yeah
also also my opinion may just be down right stupid because I was raised in a family with very extremist views, so if it is, any clarification would be sorta nice
also also also I don't really have an issue with straight mods, I really think we should just make sure we're all open minded-
