TikTok is good in some aspects and I’m okay with people enjoying it. I have never actually tried it myself nor do I want to be bullied for having it. Reddit has that mindset if “oh it’s from TikTok? It has to be bad” and yet reddit reposts stuff from TikTok all the time (r/perfectlycutscreams, r/nextf**kinglevel, r/publicfreakout and many more subreddits often repost content from TikTok, it’s sort of like me reposting from reddit). I’m glad others enjoy TikTok and this fight really has to stop. Admittedly some things I have seen from TikTok have been weird but it really boils down to what you intend to search for or what groups you want to join. So if your using it, go for it. I’m happy you enjoy it and I don’t really care which side anyone’s on. Users should be able to enjoy the app they use without getting bullied. (Unfortunately this is the internet so it’s bound to happen).
