Interesting. I'll have a look at your posts. With that said, however, in politics one rarely edifies through scripture, let alone, preaches the Gospel, except when in dealing with a policy that affects the church.
Certainly, there is value in standing against Socialism as, when it is in place, would reduce the citizen's willingness to be charitable as they will bear more and more taxes to fund state programs for health insurance, education, etc. However, it doesn't equip the church with discernment, nor does it aid in the sanctification of believers. And again, the gospel is rarely preached in that stream.
Please think about this, if God wants you there, then it has to be something that advances the Kingdom.
I love the 2nd Amendment, and hate gun-grabbing policies for it they have it their way, we can never gain those rights back and it leaves this country open for a totalitarian ruler as he will not fear armed resistance, but if I am focused there entirely, who will teach the young believers the difference between Oneness doctrine and the doctrine of the Trinity (John 17:2)? Or how will the unbeliever know what the truth a false gospel is (Galatians 1:6-9)?
