Amen, DTuck. What a wonderful quote/

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
- Romans 8

1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
- Romans 5

Working hard, really tired of how people are so unwise when it comes to this alleged pandemic.

I am also finding it tiring engaging liberals on this site, but I find it hard not to since I was one of them before Christ saved me.

How are you doing?

Doing well; God blessing me more than I deserve. I am currently posting a PSA, and awaiting possible negative responses from kids who wants to meet others offline. Maybe you should take a break from politics.

It would seem that God has wired me to be in the thick of it, and I find that politics is one place that shows me the pulse of where people are at spiritually. I have often explained to others that politics is just a label for an area of life we try to compartmentalize, but the reality is that it is just a form of communicating what lies within our hearts.

Luke 6:43-45

For no good tree bears bad fruit,
nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit,
for each tree is known by its own fruit.

For figs are not gathered from thornbushes,
nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush.

The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good,
and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil,
for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

In short, speaking against Lockdowns, vaccines, etc, will safeguard the citizenry from more and more governmental control and conditioning as this can be considered a trial run for Martial Law, but in railing against does nothing or their souls.

How will they be saved if there no one to bear the message of the cross (Romans 10:14-15)? Or How will the saints be strengthened if no one treaches them (Make not just converts but "Disciples" (gk: Mathates, meaning, students - Matthew 28:19)?

I understand your point, however, we each much work with the spiritual gift(s) we have. One must sow, another may reap, and yet someone must remove the rocks from the field before tilling can begin.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.

Ephesians 5:11
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

Take notice of the hardness of the hearts I am dealing with. My intent is to introduce doubt regarding the things they believe immune them against the knowledge of God. In the end, I inevitably turn them towards the Word of God, which they immediately reject. But just as with me, God will work on them with His Word, whether they realize it now or not.

I do not fall into the camp that quotes Isaiah 55:10-11 (My Word . . . shall not return to me empty) to mean that everyone that hears the Word will believe. I submit that God's Word will elicit a response- yes or no to His salvation. I have little doubt that at times what is being rejected is my approach/attitude- God is working on me with that, but in the end, when there is serious rock in the way of sowing, sometimes a jackhammer is necessary.

Hi brother DTuck

I apologize for this late reply, but after much thinking and with great reluctance you are correct.

It is not easy for me to know that I am the only one doing this.

This stream and others receive so little attention that I wished that there were more of us. At the same time politics is not one of my strengths. So, that is where you fall in.

Interesting. I'll have a look at your posts. With that said, however, in politics one rarely edifies through scripture, let alone, preaches the Gospel, except when in dealing with a policy that affects the church.

Certainly, there is value in standing against Socialism as, when it is in place, would reduce the citizen's willingness to be charitable as they will bear more and more taxes to fund state programs for health insurance, education, etc. However, it doesn't equip the church with discernment, nor does it aid in the sanctification of believers. And again, the gospel is rarely preached in that stream.

Please think about this, if God wants you there, then it has to be something that advances the Kingdom.

I love the 2nd Amendment, and hate gun-grabbing policies for it they have it their way, we can never gain those rights back and it leaves this country open for a totalitarian ruler as he will not fear armed resistance, but if I am focused there entirely, who will teach the young believers the difference between Oneness doctrine and the doctrine of the Trinity (John 17:2)? Or how will the unbeliever know what the truth a false gospel is (Galatians 1:6-9)?
