Hallways, offices, and the chamber were illegally entered and ransacked while a noose waited outside even as police were attacked and people died of "natural causes" like being crushed to death by the crowd surge - yet no other shots fired.
Heck, law enforcement's reaction has been a "HEWP! If anyone brags on their Facebook status that they were any of these people, please turn them in, thx!"
It's amazing they didn't hand out hot dogs and beers to the crowd, but at least they set a fine example with ridding the world and her family of her most dangerous presence.

"Murder" is that most flexible of words in an eye-of-the-beholder sort of way.

Recent footage, by those who were in the building, has come forward showing that the protestors were calling for peace and cooperating with the police. Perhaps it was the murder of Ashli that caused the protestors to riot.

I'll have to look that video up because I haven't seen that.

That was awful. They had no right to take her life. Apparently she was trying to break through a window, at least that is what it sounded like when the some other guy yelled "bust it down". I couldn't see if she had anything to break the window or not but the cop that shot her sure did. He shot right through the glass.

What I want to know is what triggered the riot. Videos before showed some of the protesters shouting at the crowd to be peaceful and to listen to the police. Something happened after that that caused the crowd to lose it.

It typically doesn't take much to get a crowd of emotionally charged people to go from peaceful to rioting because mob mentality has about the same IQ than their shoe size.

They need to release the security footage so we can find out what the trigger point was because they didn't go in their to riot. They were protesting and they wanted their voice heard.

I think you're taking it to the extreme. However I wasn't there and you could be 100% correct.

I didn't know the window had been broken out. I thought she was trying to break it. It looked liked something was stopping her from going through and that is why I assumed the window was still there.

She was unarmed, as was everyone else in the building. I know cops have a lot of leeway, except when it comes to shooting blacks, but I still think lethal force was in the extreme. She wasn't a threat to the cops.

I agree that all of the protesters, not just the handful in the congressional building, were there to protest a stolen election.

What I want to know is what event turned a crowd of protesters into a mob of rioters.
