But seriously, Nintendo created Linkle, adds her in Hyrule warriors, then never adds her to a main story game so we can choose to play as a girl. Like SERIOUSLY

You can play as both a guy or a girl character from the series in Hyrule Warriors (i.g. Lana, Impa, Link, Zelda, Linkle, etc), so they wouldn't mind. Also, they could make it to where you switch back and forth between Link and Linkle, like you do in Majora's Mask with Link and Kafei. It would be rather interesting. Many theorize that Link and Linkle could be related, or that Linkle comes from a dimension of genderswaps (such as her being the heroine instead of a hero, a Prince instead of Princess, male Impa, etc), so Link/Zelda shippers would just have to let Zelda have a sister-in-law lol (I ship Ruto/Link though, yeet-)
Linkle's most notable souce of weaponary are the two mini-crossbows in her boots, instead of obtaining a Hero's Bow, we can have Linkle's Cross-Bows, then we have Link's Sword & Shield. Ofc, When playing as Link, Linkle would be following behind you controlled by AI, and vise versa. Or since nowadays games are online, you can play online 2P or Offline 2P, where obe controls Link, the other Linkle, like in Resident Evil 5!

From what I know, Non-Binaries don't care about it, they just wanna have fun playing the game. I have a few kids in 7th grade whose identity is non-binary, plays pokemon, and doesn't mind playing either gender.

Plus, you don't have to play as a girl if your a girl and vise versa. Take me for example, I'm a chick, born one too, but I always play as a boy when I play Pokemon.

Fair enough, although one of my friends has a gender-neutral mod on Stardew Valley and they don't like playing the game without it.

mm. Well, everyone may play how they want, but i still hate BoTW Link's androgynous looks, I like when he was the very masculine, deep-voiced man that he looked like in Twilight Princess. I dunno why, it's probably because, the first Zelda game I ever played was Twilight Princess, so I guess I'm harshly used to seeing link as a very masculine and mildly deep-voiced man, or even when playing Majora's Mask 3D (my dav zelda title), he's still masculine, which is what I like. I dunno why-
