I'm guessing you paid very little attention to anything you were being taught in high school science classes about neanderthals, cro-magnons and everything else, let alone every scientific discovery that's ever been made post such.

Historians for the past 20 years have evaluated and compared every presidency that's ever occurred throughout history, post their administrations. Trump, while officially proclaimed the 45th president, was in fact only the 44th person to ever hold that office, as Grover Cleveland twice won the presidency albeit non-sequentially.

Not surprising historians have ranked Trump to be the most morally corrupt individual that's ever held office nor to discover that overall he's one of the worst presidents in US history, coming in at 41/44. That's what will always be recorded into the history books (with good reason) no matter how much corrupt GOP senators and reps continue to cover for and/or support him and his blatant lies about mass election fraud for their own social, economic and/or political self serving interests.

The entire survey and evaluation of all 44 presidents (prior to Biden) based on 10 criteria can be found here... https://www.c-span.org/presidentsurvey2021/

I checked, and the survey participants are all from universities and colleges, which are known hotbeds of virulent anti-Trumpism. Sorry… I don’t form my opinions based on surveying college professors these days. So, I think I’ll just completely and utterly discount the survey results.

Thanks for looking into that. I was willing to bet on it being what happened. Leftists ALWAYS stack the deck before conducting surveys . . . which is why Barack Obama was always proclaimed to be a great president despite having let a one year recession linger for eight years, go on apology tour after apology tour to bad mouth the United States, and practice professional level race-agitating with the clear purpose to kick off a race war inside the United States. ONLY leftists adored Barack Obama. Sane people KNEW that he was the worst president of the last hundred years.

You, apparently, follow and support partisan narratives no matter what. I, on the other hand, purely follow provable facts that will hold up in a court of law and will equally condemn any unethical Dem or GOP party member that betrays their oath of office.

So what you're telling me is that you refuse to consider whatever these people are telling you simply because they're highly educated individuals that happen to study this stuff - unlike yourself - and are presenting contravening facts you don't want to accept as potentially being true?

Guess what, Cruz, Hawley, Gosar, etc, etc, are also highly educated - as am I - but unlike any of those corrupt self serving individuals, I'm not willing to engage in, nor perpetuate, any of Trump's blatant fraudulent claims anymore than Cheney, Kinzenger, multiple Secretaries of State, and over 80 judges nationally that have ruled against the GOP's claims of mass voter fraud (who themselves are mostly republicans, albeit ethical ones, unlike the others).

When you deny the reality of the survey participants’ inherent bias, you lose credibility.

I don't deny the reality of the survey particants' 'inherent bias' (as you call it) anymore than i would deny the feedback of a farmer, electrician, plumber, cabinet maker, car mechanic, etc, legitimately commenting on anything to do with their craft, which they might have studied and gained a high proficiency of knowledge in over many years, which most others have not.

What good are anyone of them to educate on issues regarding political signifance, consequences and many other issues that will affect not only your life but also those of your descendents? It's historicans that always educate the general public on such, never current day politicians and their media mouthpieces.

Higher education has been highly politicized by the leftists that dominate its ranks. To deny that bias is to deny reality.

Now you're just sounding ridiculous. How would you know what the left v right ratio is any educational institution? I've attended many and found they all attract a wide spectrum of individuals from every political ideological standpoint that currently exists.

Since you asked… No, I am not. I already said what I based my opinion on, and I stand by it.
0 ups, 4y
No, you never stated what you'd based your opinion on, you merely said what you WOULDN'T, namely historians, whose entire profession is based on accumulating and documenting FACTS (not "alternative facts" - aka blatant lies - that Kelly-Ann Conway coined post Sean Spicer's assertion Trump's inauguration attendance was the largest in US history even though physical photographic evidence proved otherwise)
1 up, 4y
Yep. And some of the judges were even Trump appointees.

As Mark Twain said, "Don't let school get in the way of your education."
0 ups, 4y
Hey, I'm a fan of Twain myself but what he's alluding to is that 'book learning' alone will never compensate for any lack of knowledge that can only be gained via first hand personal experiences on any given subject matter. The greatest education anyone ever receives is a combination of both.

Then as a historian let me ask you a question. Why is Karl Marx taught more than Henri de Saint Simon?
0 ups, 4y
I never claimed to be a historian let alone a professor, so can't definitely answer your question. I'd assume, however, it's likely because Marx became far more influential and had a much greater impact on society.
