The Texas cold snap was a once in a decade event. I've seen that happen 5 times. In the 80s, the 90s, the 2000s, the 2010s and this past January.

If you don't like the weather in Texas, just wait a little while - it'll change.

Cherry picked data? That's a government weather site stating the temperatures from the 1800s. You're just mad that it disputes any claim to "global warming"

What they fail to mention to you is by most accounts, deforestation in tropical rainforests adds more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere than the sum total of cars and trucks on the world’s roads.
Even if global warming was such a huge threat to everyone, there would need no way to end fossil fuel use. Fossil fuels = crude oil. Oil = any fuel that ends in 'ane' (octane, propane, butane); tars; and plastics. Plastic is used in 99% of everything. Fuels are used in making and running 95% of everything.. and tars are used in roads and powerlines. Among other things.
It's not a rabbit hole, the earth had been changing for billions of years, there's nothing we can do to stop it.
