—Argumentative memes don’t break stream terms.
—Provocative memes don’t break stream terms.
—Political memes don’t break stream terms as long as they have some relationship to history.
—Memes that promote blatantly inaccurate history, like Holocaust denial, do break stream terms. But this isn’t that. It’s a fair comparison of language that both Hitler and Trump used to demonize the press.
I do not see any firm distinction between history and politics other than time. History is, to a large extent, the political science of the past — and politics is history being written in real-time.
If the stream isn’t to your liking, there are other history streams on Imgflip that are quite unlikely to feature criticism of Trump. Like those run by OlympianProduct, who’s a Trump supporter.
A little history about *this* stream: we founded it to get away from him, because we found his stream terms and the enforcement thereof to be onerous. Here, we can post what we want.
And if you don’t like either of us, then you can found your own history stream.
Friendly competition! A stream for you, a stream for me!
It’s what makes Imgflip great.
