0.3% of the pool of America = a million people.

So ya, you might want to close the pool.

States and counties with diff mandates followed the same trajectory because the virus is - wait for it - airborne. We didn’t stop anything.

And our idiotic “efforts” affected single mothers and minorities the worst.

We lost lives because obesity (76% of deaths) and old age (shocker).

Sweden didn’t do better because less lockdowns - they didn’t better because less obesity.

Sheesh #commonsense

1. False. Some states did wayyy better than others. Densely populated cities typically did worse in general and I imagine other factors may have also played a role but some definitely did better than others.

2. Correct. It is airborne. So if you're coughing your ass off inside your house, I am extremely unlikely to catch the virus from you in my house.

3. If you mean financially I guess the ol' "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" applies here then.

4. Yes... Obesity, hypertension, diabetes, heart conditions.. America in general isn't terribly healthy to begin with. To continue with your analogy, if you can't swim the pool is dangerous.

Wow you’re missing the point - life has risk when you step out the door. If we treated car accidents like we treated covid the highways and streets would be shut down. Way too risky. Nobody drives.

Stay home + stay safe = Bullsh**

Car crashes aren't contagious, car crashes don't mutate, and car crashes are more or less constant.... (although I imagine more car crashes do happen around holidays than the rest of the year).... Basically what I'm getting at as far as them being more or less constant is that there is virtually zero risk of car crashes causing a sh*t show type situation where hospitals would be overwhelmed with car crash victims.... unable to tend to all of them. That can't be said for covid. Especially at the beginning of this. We barely even knew wtf it was. Simply "letting it rip" would've been incredibly irresponsible.

But to once again go along with your analogy anyway.... If an area gets risky to drive through with your car (flooding, snow, ice, etc.)
............ They do shut down the road.
:o

There are also multitudes of ways they have changed cars over the years in an effort to make them more safe, less risky, save lives and such..

Correct yet here’s the point - driving an automobile is still INCREDIBLY risky and like Covid my decision DOES affect other people.

Yet the decision to risk or not to risk, to drive or not, is still on each of us. As it should be!

To live is in fact, to risk. Don’t ever want to get hurt? Stay inside.

I’ll post pictures.

Driving is somewhat risky.... depending on you and other people's driving habits..so stay home/stay inside. Or..... Help the automobile industry perfect driverless vehicles which will communicate with and know every other vehicle on the road's exact location in relation to each other vehicle as well as enabling them to be synchronized with traffic signals..... Then wait for whatever corporation invents it to lobby the government to initiate their new grid of driverless vehicles and outlaw car ownership.

That’s the way you think? Ok…there are 1.9 billion Muslims around the world. If only 1% of them want the death and destruction of America, than 20 million Muslims want to see us wiped off the map. Let’s close the country and never allow another Muslim to enter. And, while we are at it, let’s get rid of all the ones who are already here.

Didn't we already try that?

Why only 13? Didn't he and his campaign go on and on about a Muslim ban?

Seems to me there was at least 4 quotes from him and his campaign about a "Muslim ban"... I know because I remember renaming it the
"we're no longer calling it a "Muslim ban" Muslim ban. "

Mmm...doubt. feel free to send over the quotes. Hey it's possible. Here is one thing he said: “It’s not the Muslim ban,” Mr. Trump said in the interview. “But it’s countries that have tremendous terror.”
