Well first of all I'm glad to see you even acknowledging that people died from covid. I understand Trump retweeted Qanon sh*t that many people here repeatedly parroted claiming hundreds of thousands of covid deaths were fake news... (And still do). So it's not exactly a surprise that the Donald himself quietly hid in the closet to get his vaccine. Because why TF would you need a vaccine for a fake plandemocrat hoax right? To this day his own voter base are primarily the covid vaccine skeptics....spreading new variants amongst themselves... A couple people here seemed to think the vaccine is actually going to kill everyone who has taken it. I remember because I told them to have fun burying all of our rotting dead bodies. But ya the Donald's campaign also removed social distance stickers at rallys he continued having deep into the pandemic.. I think even after the election(?).. no surprise his dumb ass ended up getting the virus. Who knows how many people he personally spread it to.
As far as food and water shortages I guarantee Biden would be the owner of that here had the tables been turned. Speaking of which, I remember someone here saying "Biden will own covid numbers once he becomes president".... Interesting that whoever it was seems to have now disappeared. But ok maybe you don't want to play the "if they were president they own it" game.
I do think Biden is generally better for America but as far as actual policy directly effecting me, I am virtually the same as I was with Trump compared to with Biden. My taxes are the same and if you exclude 2020, my employment is more or less the same. I got stimulus checks under each president.... (Although repubs in Congress definitely tried to stop me from getting em.)
