Former President Donald Trump could be criss-crossing America right now promoting the Covid-19 vaccination campaign that he started and Biden is carrying forward. It’s what any former official of his stature would do, to help heal the country in both a moral and literal sense. But he isn’t. Instead, he’s quadrupling-down on the Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen from him. Using whatever influence he still has in the GOP to exact revenge on any Republicans who didn’t toe the line. Worth reminding ourselves that this is not how former Presidents worthy of that title behave.
