Though Mario kart 8 deluxe has better R.T.X. and a few new items, Mario kart wii actually has more complex animations! While 8 Deluxe jump tricks simply make the character turn around and strike a pose, Mario kart wii jump tricks (especially on half pipe jumps) involve the kart/bike making complex gyroscopic flips and twists, even as the character does fully animated handstands, mid-air spins, and even flips!
