So true... and for both sexes.

I don't think it applies to both sexes. I know a lot of women and have never heard one complain that womens standards are too high.

I thought that was the whole point of the Big is Beautiful and Fat Acceptance movements... women complaining about beauty standards set by supermodels and movie stars that they can't ever obtain... or won't... because working on yourself is HARD.

But I wasn't actually thinking of it from that perspective. I was saying that men and women can both point fingers at the other sex and blame them for their own failings... because jealousy, pride and hubris are a part of the human condition... and I think men and women both qualify as such.

But I get the confusion. It's hard to convey all that with "So true... and for both sexes". One sentence leaves a lot open to interpretation... which is why Twitter sucks, by the way. Hahaha :)
