Same folks who refused to wear masks or take the Covid vaccine are now screaming about “Wuhan Lab.” And if they’re right? So?

Are they the same people? How do we know this? Also, a thinking person might want to find out how this kind of thing doesn't happen again by applying strict measures in containing it. (Just answering your question. It wasn't just a snide dig, right?)

That’s fine — if an inquiry into Wuhan Lab is focused on ensuring something like this never happens again anywhere in the world, that’s something we can all (including the Chinese) get behind.

If it’s instead motivated by political revenge and an attempt to blame China, then that’s not only wrongheaded, it’s a way to guarantee Chinese non-compliance and continued stonewalling.

Sadly, that seems to be the main motivation driving current right-wing interest in it.

I have to admit, there's a lot of political revenge games afoot these days. It's hard to determine who is earnestly trying to stop future outbreaks and who isn't. I do know of a person who doesn't want to get a vaccine because she had Covid. Her Dr. told her she didn't need one. Who do you trust?
