I agree with you by today’s standards. When I was a kid (a shitload of years ago), we were taught about the US Constitution, the founding of our nation, and people like Jefferson, Washington, Abraham Lincoln (A Republican!), the bill of rights, the branches of government, etc.
It sure sounds to me like all of that great history is being abandoned and that the left is teaching things like “This Country is Evil and that evil dates back to 1619). The astute will notice that the country was founded many years after 1619 and the year that the USA was founded was 1776.
