This is true and I hate it

All the male characters sound like girls

And the female characters sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks

This is one of the things that made me dislike anime the very first time I saw it as a kid. I was all like "why do all the people sound weird?" and stuff. That kind of thing really annoys me.
