The left wants to use this single event to convict millions of Americans

Lets be honest. The libs will never let this go because they think the election was fair.

It’s not that they think it was fair. They think it was favorable to them. Hypocrites that they are.

Brave and weirdly intellectually honest of you to try to mount a substantive defense of these bozos, when most Republicans would rather just look the other way.

However, it’s impossible. They sacked the nation’s Capitol. They went on a manhunt for our vice-President and other politicians. They intimidated news crews. They maimed and injured dozens of police officers.

And the plain truth of it is they did all of this because of one man: Donald Trump, and his fragile ego that refused to permit him to admit an election defeat. Throughout 2020 Trump foregrounded his refusal to accept the results of the upcoming election that was predicted to hand him a defeat in many ways; the voter fraud allegations were principally rooted in nothing but Trump’s own imagination.

This insurrection was haphazard, unsuccessful, and mercifully less violent than it very well could have been, but that doesn’t change its essential character. It was a coup attempt, plain and simple.

This violent convulsion defies every tradition of American history that we know of, except for one: the Civil War.

It defies reason that anyone could continue to be a Trump supporter after this event, yet many are.

That they got out of hand for whatever reason is fact. That they have been arrested and charged with crimes is a fact. Very few non leftists,that I have seen, believe it was ok. But trespassing, and unlawfully occupying a restricted area is not an insurrection. You will try and sell it as that because it fits the narrative to vilify anyone who disagrees politically. It’s why you justify shooting and killing an unarmed female protestors who made no threatening move to any officer. Because she had the wrong skin color and political beliefs.

The fact is they were disgruntled Americans who showed up to register their protest with election fraud. You believe that Trump leads the people but That’s not it. He says what many are thinking. I watched and it is fishy. I have watched several elections including ones my candidate didn’t win. Don’t need the Cheeto to tell me what I saw.

Never in American history have the concerns of a large portion of the population been not only ignored, but villified. Not since the civil war has division been as prevalent. Who builds and propagates that division? The leftists and their divider in Chief. We already know the left believe all white people are racist and white supremists if they don’t repeat the dogma of the left. Not a surprise they want to use the government to investigate and attack them.
