First, no one is questioning the need to wear facemasks and antisocially distance. I'm not sure why you went off on that tangent, except to muddy the waters and take attention from the OP's message.
Allow me to fix your statement for you "So why wouldn't we wear facemasks and socially distance to minimize the damage of the attack UNTIL PEOPLE ARE VACCINATED?" Not a huge difference, however, but the way yours is written one could assume that you're in favor of the vaccinated being required to wear masks, and I know that you're not one of those. Also, I don't want to assume, because you know what happens then.
