I'm not a fan of Chiang Kai-Shek or the Chinese Nationalists, but I gotta point out: Mao and the Chinese Communist party committed plenty of atrocities of their own. One could argue that neither side was really much better than the other, however I won't get into that since I don't know the Chinese Civil War very well.
