The reason why this meme of drinking bleach was originally made is because Trump was touting snake oil cure after snake oil cure and people were dying from his suggestions. People were stupid enough to try them. So, it's not really a stretch.

Your drinking bleach meme would be more accurate if it said "What every Democrat thought Trump Supporters would do."
