In the major cities where the police budget and cuts have occured crime is skyrocketing. That is fact. If you don't see the connection between the two, then you're gullible or dumb. Or both.
Oddly enough, that hasn't always been the case. Some notable instances of crime actually dropping during a police strike has raised the very valid question of what those police were even doing with their work.
Questions about accountability are always valid
the likelihood (in the absence contradictory proof) that crime will go down in the absence of law enforcement is too remote to factor into discussion.
