Kerry is wrong, the climate change lunacy is just that....lunacy! Science is never decided on consensus but political decisions are! And that is what the climate change lunacy is..just politics! And we know that because one of the head of a UN dept (I cannot recall his name at this moment) had said that nothing they do would have any impact on the climate but it was only about transferring wealth to poorer countries. The data that 97% of scientists agree on climate change is false (that data was gotten from just 34 abstracts of studies that had agreed completely with the study author John Cook's premises, but those 34 was taken from a sample of just over 12,000 abstracts..he actually threw out around 12,000 which did not agree with him to get his 97% of scientist data..it was actually something like 0.02% of scientists!).
When I see scientists from both sides sit down and rehash the "science" on climate change....and there is a 3rd impartial body to review the arguments....then, and only then, will I would believe that there is some fairness to this lunacy. Until then, I will only seeing the gross unfairness meted out to any scientist who disagrees with these political lunatics..the mockery by the media..the loss of funding, the loss of movement to higher position, the loss of pay raise, the loss of their jobs.
And yes! nuclear is a very viable solution that will solve most of what these lunatics are complaining about..most non-existent or just "maybe" potentials..and most just made up. But the very same people who are climate change lunatics....these very same people are also anti-nuclear! So yes! This is political....a political movement.
And about your "what if". Well! If we were to live in a "what if" liberal world then there will be no end to the crazy "what ifs" that crazy people will continually think up next! That would be a very fearful world to live in indeed! But I get that..I do not believe in a god..but what if there was a god! It would make sense to increase my chances of going to heaven by pretending to believe in a god, pray to a god, christen my child into a church, so that when I die then if there was a god..I would go to heaven. That is what most people are doing now with climate change..pretending!..I refuse to do either....pretend that there is a god....or pretend that climate change is manmade and will be irreparable in 10 years (how many 10 years have gone by since that was first said?..at least 10 by my count!).
