What if I told you that a meme can be off-topic spam when offered in one context (as a legit meme for the politics stream) but can be on-topic when offered as an example in a discussion thread where the topic is spam on the politics stream?
Some people consider upvote-begging to be spam. But what if there was a stream called
imgflip.com/m/begging_for_upvotes ? What if the stream description said, basically, “spam your upvote-begging memes here”? What if that stream grew into one of Imgflip’s largest because some people enjoy it and find upvote-begging to be all in good fun?
In other words, if you want to link or repost silly examples of what I’m talking about here on this thread, as a mod, I’ll allow it.
