thomas edison invented nothing. the lightbulb was invented before he was born, he just modified it. but he didnt do any work, just hired a couple of engineers (including nikola tesla), and had them do all the work and then took all the credit. nikola tesla wanted to make free energy for everyone, but thomas edison being a greedy capitalist, he shut down nikola tesla. thats why you pay an energy bill, because thomas edison was a greedy capitalist. if anything, i think we should forget all about thomas edison and focus on the people who actually invented the lightbulb. repost this so more people see it, because it triggered my memory.

Those "two engineers" were Henry Woodward and Mathew Evans, two Canadians who patented the design for an incandescent light bulb in 1874, but were extremely poor, so then later sold the patent to Thomas Edison.

You should amend this to "A light bulb was invented in Great Britain 45 years before Thomas Edison came along. HIS contribution was an idea to improve the life span of the carbon filament ( the glowy thing) inside the light bulb.

Thoman Edison did NOT invent the lightbulb. It was actually Nikola Tesla. Why everyone always says it was thomas doesnt make sense to me. He took all of Teslas credit for himself.

I already know that but the meme would seem weird if it said that nikola tesla invented the lightbulb because most people think edison did
