Take climate change seriously! It's no laughing matter, we could be going extinct in like 100 years without action. Please stop laughing about it.

0 ups, 4y,

I don’t see how it’s cheaper. Electric cars cost more even after you subside yourself with higher taxes to pay the government subsidy. Same with solar panels which last about 10-15 yrs. wind requires generators that wear out. Batteries are environmental disasters to dispose of. Our coal gas and oil are cheaper energy.
0 ups, 4y
That's false. The battery part, that's all fine. But the pollution created from the other power is worse. Also, yes renewables are cheaper: https://www.forbes.com/sites/jamesellsmoor/2019/06/15/renewable-energy-is-now-the-cheapest-option-even-without-subsidies/?sh=3c5883005a6b

Right now, they are. They used to be expensive, now they aren't.

Climate tends to fluctuate over Earth’s years. There was a time called the Medieval Climate Optimum where the temperature was hotter than it is today. It was so hot Greenland was in fact, green. This was way before fossil fuels were widely used. Earth’s climate tends to fluctuate.

Um yeah no. That was just in the northern hemisphere, other parts were colder than usual. This meant most animals were okay.

but not like this. It corresponds to a rise in fossil fuels, and that's the part that is why it's human caused.

I have a question for you:
The Eletrovserse is deemed as conspiracy theory and not newsworthy but why does NASA was funded 20 Billion dollars by government to tell viewers and readers that they wanted to hear?

The fact is that the whole global warming (or climate change, whichever you prefer) is indeed a propaganda spewed by MSM, politicians and scientists paid to make stuff up.
Oh, since you're using the fact-checker website, it pretty much indicates that you are defending the narrative that's been lying to you for a long while.

You have any better solutions to solve the threat of climate change then? I have maybe one idea that might help, every one recycles their garbage and maybe relearn to ride bicycles for long distance trips, at least no more than 6 miles. If they have jobs that are too far to ride their bikes to then maybe taking a bus or cab would be better.

Ah yes those are good. So are rechargeable electric batteries in cars which can be RECYCLED. And cleaner retrofits for current cars. Also, retrofitting houses, offices, stores and factories with more green space on the roof to suck in carbon. We can also use Ecosia as a search engine. Let's do everything we can.

Eh, I don’t think your solutions aren’t at all practical or reasonable for someone like me living off a meager salary. Mine would at least help ensure you get more exercise. We as humans have become too dependent on cars to get to places we need to go and that needs to change.
0 ups, 4y,

Yes we do. I think it's doable if the government gives tax rebates and things like that by taxing the rich, but in the meantime these do work. At least your interested in a solution, most people on this stream aren't and say it's fake news.

"The rich have too much money and power. The fact they have too much power is already a failing. We need to support the little guy and the planet, and the only way we can do that is by taxing the rich. There's no other way. If you have another way then tell me."

Focus more on education and jobs so less people won't be at the bottom of the class triangle and so we can have less jobless people on the streets, but there's no way we can fully solve that problem. There's always gonna be a class system, and someone will always have power over you. In this Constitutional Republic that's a mixed economy we've always found a balance in our country, thus why we have stood for so long. If we tax the rich there will be all the problems I just said, but then you must realize the rich don't have as much power as you may believe. While they do have the power I just said, if we just convert into Socialism and the rich are brought down onto our level then we'll be relying mostly on government support and then we'll easily be taken into what is essentially slavery by corrupt politicians. A perfect world is unacheivable, despite what you may believe. Mankind is naturally selfish, and they will likely always remain that way. We should keep the country as it is, and focus on sustaining what we have had for all these years instead of being taxed into homelessnes so we can have the so called "perfect society".

We do have limits for the rich (they don't have the ability of taking over the entire country like a full capitalist country), but the only difference is that Europe's countries have different ways of handeling things, and they also have their own problems such as the high taxes in places such as Denmark.

"Or we could tax the rich and give that to the poor!"

Think about that for a moment. Rich people typically have a lot of power, and adding taxes onto them will make them very angry. So you're basically taxing the people who let you use the internet, the people who make your electric cars, and the people who you basically get all of your supplies from. Unless you're living off the country, or know how you can live off the country/land, those rich people can literally just stop letting you buy their equipment. Essentially people who probably don't even know how farming or making your own stuff works (I supposed you don't) will be dead as a doornail without their equipment. They can just sell their stuff for people who don't support them getting taxed or the people who don't tax them, as it's perfectly legal in this mixed economy. If you wanna start saying "Socialism is the answer", then you're dead wrong. Socialism will either allow them to abuse the system and basically use people like you as slaves while also owned everything you have, or it will just make them as poor as you so you'll rely on the government for everything you get, thus basically making the government own you, and in that case we'll be a communist country like the Soviet Union before you know it. Of course some people will probably get mad at the rich people for not letting them have stuff, and in that case they'll probably begin protesting, rioting, stealing, etc, thus causing a civil-war leaving countless people dead for something so small.

Yeah, that's what simply taxing the rich will get ya'. It probably wouldn't effect me much since me and my family typically buy local products from stores that aren't owned by "rich people", and we simply know how we can grow crops and such, so people such as I won't be effected as much since we know how to make a living by ourselves. There's also many disadvantages for getting an electric car, and let's not forget it's mostly rich people who make these electric cars and sell them, and in the case they don't stop letting you have these things that'll mean in order for them to make a living they'll jack up the prices on their equipment, thus making those taxes basically a major disadvantage.

All these things could also lead into another great depression for America so that we'll rely on the government, blah blah blah, you get my point.
0 ups, 4y

We could, but politicians (Democrats and Republicans) do not actually do this. Sure, the democrats will say they’d do it to get votes from the working class and minorities but they don’t actually do it when they win. As for republican politicians, well we all know they’ll lie too so the only people we can trust to tell the f**king truth (all of it, not just what would make us feel good about ourselves) is other working class citizens that aren’t in politics and aren’t celebrities.
